Former adjunct instructor in defensive tactics for his agency's academy delivering instruction to over 500 recruits

While attending NC State university(1992) Guy was a member of the North Caroline National Guard with the MOS of Infantry for 6 years.

Guy started hosting classes to bring top tier instructors to the DFW/N. Texas area. Guy's first instructor to host was Cecil Burch of Immediate Action Combatives in 2011. Since, Guy has hosted Paul Sharp of Sharp Defense, William Aprill of Aprill Risk Consulting, and Jerry Wetzl of Redzone knife Defense.

With 30 yrs experience in both military and law enforcement Guy understands the need for current, ongoing, realistic training. In the desire to better train himself for his career Guy seeks out training from the top instructors in the multi-disciplinary weapons based environment training community. Guy's training includes BJJ, boxing, firearms, tactics, tactical medicine, and criminal behavior.
